Once again, obama proving he's not all that different from Bush

Like the Bush administration, the Obama administration argues that the legal basis for indefinite detention of aliens it considers dangerous is separate from war-crimes prosecutions. Officials say that the laws of war allow indefinite detention to prevent aliens from committing warlike acts in future, while prosecution by military commission aims to punish them for war crimes committed in the past.

Here we have it folks, the Obama administration, much like the Bush administration before it, saying that thoughtcrime is bad and that these people need to go away because they think bad things. More and more, Obama is failing at the whole due process thing, and the whole fair trial thing, and the whole transparency thing. We need a president who actually has some courage and convictions to change the shit that happened during the last eight years. Shame Obama's not it.
